This announcement outlines our updated policy on municipal swimming pool plan submissions.

Please note that BK PROJECTS SA / BK POOLS no longer offers the service of submitting swimming pool plans on behalf of a client to local municipalities.

This decision was made after ongoing challenges and delays outside our control, including the following:

1. Many properties contain unauthorised or unapproved structures (such as Wendy houses, carports, or extensions).
   These must first be regularised and approved before a swimming pool plan can be processed — often causing significant delays or plan rejections by local authorities.
2. Some properties are subject to title deed restrictions or registered servitudes, which require additional applications and approvals before a swimming pool plan can be approved.
   In many cases, property owners are either unaware of these conditions or unwilling to complete the necessary steps, resulting in incomplete or unapproved applications.

In both circumstances, we have repeatedly experienced situations where clients hold our company responsible for delays or non-approvals — even when the issues are unrelated to our scope of work.

To ensure transparency and fairness, BK PROJECTS SA / BK POOLS has formally withdrawn this service.

However, we are happy to refer clients to independent professionals who specialise in municipal submissions and compliance matters.
