Promotional Prices

Estimate prices are based on our Winter Promo pricing and already include a 10% discount. No further discounts apply.

Online Estimate Only

Online estimates are automatically generated and remain subject to site inspection, review of the selected pool, access conditions, distance confirmation, soil conditions, specifications, exclusions and written confirmation by BK Pools.

Wider Pools

If the selected pool is wider than 3m, for example 3.4m or 3.5m wide, clients must contact our office before relying on the online estimate.

Delivery and installation access may be restricted in certain areas due to permits, route access, road conditions and site access control.

Excluded Complexes

We do not work in certain complexes in Somerset West, Stellenbosch, Paarl and Wellington. Please confirm directly with our office if we work in your complex.

Excluded Areas

We do not work in certain Cape Town suburbs, including Hout Bay, Kommetjie, Simon’s Town, Noordhoek, Fish Hoek, Camps Bay and Sea Point. Please confirm coverage with our office if you are unsure.

Soil Conditions

The estimate assumes normal soft soil excavation. Clay, rock, groundwater or unusual ground conditions will result in additional costs.

Pool Plans

Pool plan submissions, approvals and related requirements remain the client’s responsibility and are not included in the online estimate.

Rubble Removal

Only normal pool installation rubble generated during the installation is included. This excludes plants, grass, tree branches, tree stumps, tyres and building materials.

Rubble is moved to the curb and collected during the course of the installation. Skip hire is not included and will be for the client’s account.

Underground Water Lines or Cables

If private water lines or cables are encountered, these may be rerouted at an additional cost where possible. Council water lines or cables cannot be rerouted by our teams.

Crane Hire

In normal circumstances, the pool shell is taken over the client’s wall, roof or neighbour’s wall. If this is not possible, crane hire will be required and will be for the client’s account.

Filling of Pool

Pools are filled using the client’s municipal tap water.

Site Inspection

A site inspection may be required before final pricing is confirmed. The online estimate does not replace a formal written quotation.

An online estimate is provided for budgeting purposes only and does not replace a formal written quotation.

Supply Only

DIY pool shell estimates are for the supply of the selected fibreglass pool shell and listed shell fittings only.

Installation, excavation, plumbing, electrical work, paving, backfilling, water, chemicals, site preparation and offloading labour are not included.

Curb-Side Delivery

Delivery is curb-side only. The buyer must arrange suitable workers to offload the pool shell on arrival.

BK Pools does not provide offloading labour as part of the DIY shell estimate.

Delivery Distance

DIY delivery fees are calculated according to the selected delivery distance from our Brackenfell office.

Incorrect distance selections may affect the final price. Final delivery costs remain subject to confirmation by BK Pools.

Delivery Over 200km

We may be able to deliver further than 200km within the Western Cape, but these delivery costs are not included in the online estimate calculator.

Please contact our office directly for delivery costs before placing an order.

Wider Pools

If the selected pool is wider than 3m, for example 3.4m or 3.5m wide, clients must contact our office before relying on the online estimate.

Delivery may be restricted in certain areas due to permits, route access, road conditions and access control. This is especially important where the delivery address is more than 70km from our Brackenfell office.

Shell Colour

Standard shell colours are light blue or white.

Optional colours such as dark blue, cloud grey and charcoal may be available at an additional cost. Optional darker colours do not carry a warranty.

Mosaics

Standard blue stock mosaics are included.

Alternative mosaic options may be available. Please contact our office directly to confirm available options and pricing.

Installation Requirements

A minimum 10:1 clean sand and cement mix must be used as the backfill mix for the warranty to be effective.

BK Pools’ installation specifications must be followed in full.

Installer Experience

The person installing the pool should have prior experience with fibreglass pool shell installations.

Reputable installers can be recommended on request.

Incorrect Installation

Incorrect installations carry no warranty.

BK Pools does not provide a warranty for the workmanship of independent installers or for damage caused by incorrect installation.

Warranty

The fibreglass shell carries a limited structural warranty, subject to the applicable warranty terms, conditions and exclusions.
