1.) Do you have any promotions available?

2.) Do you write your own Hello Peter Reviews?
No. All of our reviews are verified by Hello Peter on a regular basis. We do not have the time to write our own reviews, our time is spent on focusing on your pool installation / renovation. We cannot unfortunately answer this question for other companies. All reviews on our Hello Peter profile is 100% vetted and verified.
3.) What type of swimming pools do you install?
Cape Town Branch:
Concrete pools: Only April – August months
Fibreglass shells: January – December
Gauteng Branch: Our Gauteng branch does both Concrete & Fibreglass and Fibreglass Shell installations.
4.) Do you use a crane to lift the fibreglass shells over the roof?
Generally, no. Our workers are skilled in taking your swimming pool shell over the walls and or your roof, this is our job and we do it every day. Double story houses are a bit tricky, if we cannot take the pool shell over a neighbour’s wall on the side of your house, and the only way the pool shell can be placed in your back yard is by going over your double story roof, we have no other option but to hire a crane, which costs will be for your account. We do our utmost best to save our clients any unnecessary costs, however situations like the above is out of our control. Where your house is a single story, the pool is almost always taken over your roof with planks. Should we take the shell over the roof and we damage the roof tiles, this is repaired by our team.
5.) Do you do pool plans?
Cape Town Branch: The pool price includes the drawing & submission of pool plans. If you already have a pool plan, we give you a discount of R1000.00.
Gauteng Branch: The drawing & submission of pool plans are not included in the quoted price. We can arrange for the drawing of your pool plan, there will however be an additional cost of R1000.00. The submission cannot be done on your behalf and must be done my the owner of the property.
6.) Why do you install 0.75kw pumps?
We use only the best 0.75kw pump made by Quality & backed Fluidra. These pumps are improved constantly and are at the top of the market. The 0.75kw Quality Pump is a very strong unit and with the quality and durability tests done by Quality this pump was stronger and more efficient that the 1.1kw pump. We do not use import pumps as many other companies to cut down on costs. Some companies try to sell you a 1.1kw pump because you have solar or jets, this is not necessary if you use a Quality 0.75kw Pump. A 0.75kw pump also uses less electricity than a 1.1kw pump, why would you want to pay more on electricity?
7.) How long does the installation take?
This all depends on the type of soil we encounter and off course the weather. If we encounter rock of clay ground, the installations take longer. Also, if you opt for a Water feature of extra Paving, this will also delay the process. We ask that you give us 10 working days, some installations however is completed in a shorter time frame.
8.) Do you charge a deposit?
Yes. We charge a 20% booking fee / deposit.
9.) Can I amend my fibreglass shell?
No. Fibreglass shells are set and cannot be amended. Some of the fibreglass shells can however be made narrower of wider depending on the shell. Check with our office directly which shells this is.
10.) Do you share my personal details with third parties?
Never. We cannot by law share any details with a third party without your express consent. Should we require a reference in your area we will contact you for permission, if you decline, we will not share your details. We do however share pictures of your swimming pool installation on our Facebook & Instagram Pages.
